Established in Southampton, and led by two passionate Directors, Peak Engineering is a young, independent Engineering Consultancy, specialising in Mast and Tower industry. We have gained comprehensive knowledge from industry leading structural engineering consultancies, with over 8 years experience working for both private and public client sectors. We specialise in the inspections, design checks and designs of communication structures such as towers, guyed masts, monopoles, rooftop structures and other steel frame structures.
Our mission is to provide our clients with an excellent professional service dedicated to the telecommunication industry. We share a passion for structural engineering in all its forms and want our clients to benefit from this. Our work environment is aimed at problem solving under open plan and collaborative conditions. We offer our clients with a practical, common sense approach to Structural Engineering and thoughtful, technically sound, and economical structural solutions
We are experienced and qualified Structural and Civil Engineers with over 8 years of experience. Having previously worked in busy consulting environments and gained extensive climbing and site experience within the Telecommunication Industry. During past employment we were responsible for undertaking and delivering consulting services to key clients; analysing and designing structures in projects of the value greater than half a million pounds; ensured the reliability, safety, and structural performance of the infrastructure for UK government agencies; conducting technical inspections of structures within the MoD UK wide, and overseas estates to TB 10/09, and for the commercial sector within the UK.
During our careers we have been involved in both the analysis and design of non-linear complex guyed masts and HF antenna arrays, large frame structures supporting military surveillance radars and radomes, free-standing lattice towers and column/monopole structures, hybrid steel and timber freestanding towers, various types of foundations as well as grillages, non‑standard rooftop structures, seismic designs.
We design to Eurocodes and British Standards, but we can design to other codes as well; we have previously designed structures to American TIA-222 code.
